Domain-Registration-Agreement

This Domain Registration Agreement applies whenever you register, renew, or transfer a domain name through DomainoHost, either directly or as a reseller of an ICANN-accredited registrar. By submitting a domain order, you agree to this Agreement in addition to our general Terms and Conditions and the policies of the applicable domain registry.

Registrant Responsibilities

  • You confirm that all registrant, administrative, technical, and billing contact information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and you agree to promptly update it if it changes.
  • You are solely responsible for selecting a domain name that does not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, or other rights of any third party.
  • You are responsible for renewing your domain(s) before their expiration date. Loss of a domain due to non-renewal is the sole responsibility of the registrant.

Registration Period and Renewal

Domains are registered for the period selected at checkout (typically 1-10 years, depending on the extension). We may attempt to notify you of upcoming expirations via email, but it remains your responsibility to track and renew your domain(s) on time. Domains not renewed by the expiry date may be suspended, enter a redemption grace period with an additional redemption fee, or be released for registration by others, depending on registry rules for that extension.

Domain Transfers

  • Transfers In: To transfer a domain to us, the domain must be unlocked, at least 60 days past its initial registration or last transfer, and you must provide a valid authorization/EPP code. Transfer fees are non-refundable once the transfer process has been initiated with the losing registrar.
  • Transfers Out: You may request an unlock and authorization code to transfer your domain to another registrar, subject to any applicable registry transfer lock periods and provided the domain is not within 60 days of initial registration, a prior transfer, or subject to a registrant-initiated lock (e.g. due to a dispute or fraud investigation).

WHOIS Privacy / ID Protection

Where offered for the selected extension, WHOIS/ID privacy protection replaces your public contact details with a privacy proxy service's details in the public WHOIS database. Privacy protection does not apply to extensions where it is prohibited by the relevant registry, and your underlying contact information will always remain available to the registry, registrar, and law enforcement upon lawful request.

Domain Suspension and Cancellation

We may suspend or cancel a domain registration if: (a) payment is not received or is reversed/charged back; (b) WHOIS information is found to be false or fraudulent; (c) the domain is used in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy; (d) we receive a valid court order, UDRP decision, or registry directive requiring suspension or transfer; or (e) required by the policies of the relevant domain registry.

Dispute Resolution (UDRP)

Domain name disputes relating to trademark rights are subject to the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy ("UDRP") or the equivalent dispute policy applicable to the relevant extension. We will comply with any binding decision issued under such a policy, including the transfer or cancellation of a domain name.

No Warranty of Registration

While we will make reasonable efforts to complete your domain order, we do not guarantee that any specific domain name will be available, successfully registered, renewed, or transferred, as this ultimately depends on the relevant registry and the actions of third parties.
